GETTING STARTED GUIDE - PUTTING GOOGLE CALENDAR ON YOUR MOBILE
FROM YOUR MOBILE
Here are some tips to get started with all of Google's free* services from your mobile phone:
- Go to m.google.com in your phone's mobile web browser to see all the free* Google Mobile products available for your phone.
- Select any product to get started using it. In some cases, there will also be a link to a downloadable application version of a product [ generally, the app version has more features and is faster ]. After selecting the download link, simply follow the on-screen instructions to install the app. Once you're finished, go to where your phone stores applications and you'll see an icon for the one you've installed.
- That's all their is to it. Check out those videos if you're still a little fuzzy on details.
FROM YOUR COMPUTER
To get started from your computer or learn more about all the Google Mobile services, check out their info pages at http://www.google.com/mobile/
- Go to mobile.google.com
- Select your device type to see what products are available for your phone
- Enter your phone number in the blue box and select the send link to my phone button. You'll receive a text message from 466453 that contains a link directly to m.google.com where you can access all the free Google Mobile products for your phone.
GOOGLE MOBILE WEBSITE - USE THIS WHEN CAN'T OPEN THE LINK GOOGLE SENDS YOUR PHONE
You may need to use the menu options in your text messaging inbox to open the link. After opening the menu, select "Go," "Use details," "Link," or "Cut address," [ the exact wording varies by device ] to open the link from the text message.
You can also enter http://mobile.google.com directly into your internet browser. Usually, this means following the steps below:
- Launch your mobile browser.
- Select "Menu" > "Go to URL."
- Type http://mobile.google.com in the URL field.
- Click "enter," "select," or "submit."
