 We have a mission. The SMP shall assist the Corps and Command in improving total force readiness, job performance, and retention by contributing to the improvement of Quality Of Life for all single Marines.
The SMP is intended to enhance the morale and well being of single Marines. It supports the command by identifying quality of life (QOL) concerns and by providing recommendations for improvement.
QOL includes all activities and issues that influence morale, living environment, personal growth and development. Get Involved!
JUST FOR THE FUN OF IT
Plan on and off base activities and community involvement for single Marines, and Sailors. Give input regarding quality of life issues that effect single Marines & Sailors at MCRD.Attend base wide meetings held twice a month.
THE NEXT SMP MEETING
The SMP Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of each month at 3:30 PM
at the Recreation Center, Bldg. 590. This meeting is for activity and
event planning as well as addressing any QOL issues for all MCRD Single
Marines and Sailors. Free Pizza and soda for all attendees."
